The MASSIVE IR Pack is meticulously designed for high-gain, aggressive tones, perfect for hard rock and metal genres, including lower-tuned guitars. The pack includes 120 impulse responses (IRs) that deliver powerful, clear, and punchy sound both in the studio and live settings.

The IRs were crafted using a blend of iconic cabinets like the Mesa Boogie Rectifier 4x12, Marshall 1960B 4x12, Friedman Runt 212, and the Mesa Boogie Thiele 1x12. The Thiele 1x12, in particular, is renowned for its clear and punchy low-end response, making it an excellent choice for capturing deep, satisfying bass tones without muddiness.

These cabinets were captured with industry-leading microphones, including the Shure SM57, Royer R121, and Sennheiser MD 421, all routed through the Great River MP-2NV mic preamp, celebrated for its warmth, clarity, and ability to handle high-gain sounds.
